Auckland Council has some pristine locations that are available to book, that are approximately 1-1.5hrs travel from North Auckland. These are a great option if you are new to caravanning and don’t want to tackle a long journey towing the caravan behind for one of your first outings.
Raglan
Located approximately 2.5hrs driving time from Auckland on the West Coast. This is where the surfer’s go to play – but, there are also walks, golfing and boating trips to be taken advantage of. Beautiful and rugged – not to be missed!
Papamoa Beach/ Mt Manganui Beach
Pristine beach locations approximately 3hrs from Auckland. Fantastic swimming and surfing, with the town centre a 10 minute drive away for ice creams or dining. A real holiday destination!
